DATE: Victorian, c.1880

A cool and unusual antique signet ring. The round head is set with a sardonyx panel, and features a ropework surround and gold pommels at each compass point. The band tapers away from the head, and has simple grooved shoulder accents. It's modelled in 9 karat gold, and dates from the 1880s.
