Adjustable crotch strap with stainless steel front and rear D-rings and D-ring retainers.
The crotch strap is seen as the fundamental part of a balanced rig, whether single tank or twin set, by a majority of divers. The strap, run from the under the backplate, under the crotch and up to the front waist harness, allows the rig to remain in perfect balance and stability during the dive.
Most dry suit divers would wear their weight belts (if used) under the crotch strap and practice a two-stage emergency release, to avoid accidental loss or dropping of weights. Wet and semi dry suit divers generally wear the weight belt on top of the crotch strap for safety.
